Who Is Erin Banks?
Erin Banks is an American professional bodybuilder originally from Fresno, California. As a high school athlete, banks competed in football, basketball, and track before attending college to study kinesiology.
After college, a former bodybuilder and coach introduced Erin to bodybuilding, although he was hesitant to compete at first. However, in 2019, Banks decided to enter a local men’s physique contest.
Erin Banks took first place in that contest and earned his IFBB pro card later that year. Since then, Banks has placed in the top 3 in every pro show he’s competed in, with his most notable win being the 2022 Mr. Olympia.

Erin Banks Height and Weight
Many fans and followers of Erin Banks have been curious about his height and weight, as is often the case with celebrities and bodybuilders. However, obtaining accurate measurements has proven to be a challenge.
One reason is the Men’s Physique category has lacked clear height/weight categories in the past, though this is beginning to change. So, the question of Erin Banks’ height remains largely unanswered.
How Tall Is Erin Banks?
Most publications say that Erin Banks is 5’11” (180 cm), but he is clearly much taller than that compared to other bodybuilders on and offstage. Based on these comparisons, Erin Banks’ actual height is most likely between 6’1″ and 6’2″ (168-170 cm).
Banks confirmed this in a recent interview about his eventual transition to the Classic Physique category. In the interview, banks said his weight cap in Classic Physique would be 242 lbs, corresponding to the 6’1″ to 6’2″ height class.
In addition, Banks appears to be slightly taller than Classic Physique champion Chris Bumstead, who is 6’0″ to 6’1″ tall.
Erin Banks Weight
Like many professional bodybuilders, Erin Banks undergoes weight fluctuations throughout the year. For example, Erin says he weighs around 225 lbs on stage in his leanest condition.
However, when he is not preparing for a contest, Banks’ weight is probably around 250 lbs in the offseason. While he does enjoy an occasional cheat meal, he does not go overboard with the bulking phase.

Erin Banks vs Jeremy Buendia Olympia
Erin Banks is gearing up to defend his Men’s Physique title at this year’s Mr. Olympia contest. However, he faces a tough challenge from four-time Olympian Jeremy Buendia, who has come out of retirement to reclaim his crown.
While they have never competed against each other, Banks and Buendia are similar in age and experience. Nevertheless, their physiques differ significantly. Buendia is shorter than Banks, standing between 5’6″ and 5’7″, but has more size in his legs and arms.
Banks is expected to be in excellent condition for the Olympia contest after participating in October’s IFBB Legion pro show, where he took second to Kyron Holden. At the same time, Buendia’s conditioning was not at its best during his last contest in 2018.
Both men are determined to win the Olympia, and the victor is likely to be the one who brings the best conditioning and most polished posing routine.
